A wonderful father-daughter-dance song

This is a song that I thought was sung on behalf of a lover about his Cinderella the first few times I heard it.... but when I listened to it on Sunday, I realized that it was one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard before. (the video w/ the lyrics was posted just before this...should be somewhere below this post)


I don't know about you but the line

I know something the prince never knew

basically, seriously, honestly(ok, ok I'll stop it...=p) bugged me. What is it that Prince Charming never knew about that beautiful maiden..? What is it that the father knew that prince couldn't see??


I came down to a bunch of stuff, so here goes..:
